Stables Lodges
Situated on the top edge of our private fields, the Stables Lodges are the two most rurally located, offering the most open views over the valleys of the High Weald.
They have an internal door between them which can be kept open or closed, making it an ideal home for larger bookings or families if kept open, and the kitchen and dining facilities, the living areas – everything – can be shared, creating an expansive, private country house.
For individual bookings the door can be kept locked, as the 2 Lodges have their own separate facilities, as well as 2 private gardens, one of which joins the two lodges in a central courtyard. There are also south facing gardens – one with far and wide views across the valleys and another overlooking the forest stream behind the lodges.
North Stables Lodge
The North Stables Lodge has a master bedroom, second double bedroom and a large vaulted living space and dining area. It has far reaching, clear views of the local, untouched valleys of the High Weald, and also the forest and stream that leads down to the River Rother at the bottom of the valley.
It has a connecting door to the South Stables Lodge, making the 2 lodges into a spacious country home for larger groups to share. It can be kept locked, for individual groups to take a Lodge each.

South Stables Lodge
The South Stables Lodge has a large vaulted living space and dining area. This suite has perfect, clear and wide views of the untouched South East valleys of the High Weald, and also the forest and stream that leads down to the River Rother at the bottom of the valley. It has a south facing private garden overlooking the stunning landscape. There is also a courtyard garden connecting the two Stable Lodge suites, as well as a garden behind overlooking the stream and forest.
It has a connecting door to the South Stables Lodge, making the 2 lodges into a spacious country home for larger groups to share. It can be kept locked, for individual groups to take a Lodge each.
